BETHLEHEM, CT- 11 OCTOBER 2005-Sisters from the Abbey of Regina Laudis held their Vespers (evening Gregorian chant) around the casket of abbey founder Mother Benedict Duss the night before her funeral in the Abbey's church, Jesu Fili Mariae. Mother Benedict founded the abbey, the first female Benedictine abbey in the United States, 47 years ago.
